Note from Patreon, May 2023:

This XX cover was a very special request from Melanie Dawn, and I learned it to play live for some livestreams before in-person events picked back up. However, I never recorded it until now.

The lead vocals here were done in one take. All I’ve done is edit out some mouth noises and fix timing slightly (no pitch correction)*. I had fun with the arrangement and made it a good deal fuller than the live version I’d been doing.

*11-30: for the release of this EP, I pitch-corrected one note that was just really bugging me. I also changed the mix a bit so the main cello pizzicato is louder.
