Goodbye Leonard Cohen, welcome Leonard Mulkey

On Saturday I gave birth to an amazing tiny human. On Sunday I chose between my two favorite names, and the winner was Leonard, largely (but not completely) after Leonard Cohen.

I was pretty devastated last night when I heard he had died. He’s written so many songs that touch so deeply.

I offer my rendition of “Suzanne,” from a house concert when I was 19. On Patreon, this is a free and public bonus song for the month. You can share that with folks here: www.patreon.com/posts/7223906 (bonus, picture of 1 hour-old baby!)

In the next few weeks I will have another subscriber-only bonus song that’s also a Leonard Cohen cover.
