Dead of Night

about

I finished writing a song on Tuesday that'd been kicking around for a year. But I need a couple of weeks with that to add and tweak things, and yesterday at 11 am I got an anxious feeling about producing enough for Patreon this month (oh, also, I finally got the bug up my butt to record the instrumentals for OMOSaTIAQ, so that plus the beginnings of a collaboration took up the first half of this short month.) So I decided to very quickly cover this simple Orville Peck song that I truly love at this moment, and make it full and lush. Pickles was being independent and I got some bonus childcare help so I was able to be ridiculously productive yesterday.

There are a couple things about the tambourine and vocals that annoy me still, but I very rarely get anything more than 90% before y'all hear it anyway, so here we are.
