about

For my follow up to Uncovered Volume 1, whose theme was songs originally written between 1980 and 1995, I wanted to include songs from any era but limit my palette to just cello (looping, though not strictly) and voice.

I let kickstarter backers choose most of the songs for the album from a finite collection of options. As it turns out, the songs all fit together perfectly, at least in my opinion.

I recorded all of the songs myself in early 2013. I allowed some effects (reverb, distortion) but not others (pitch correction/autotune, time-shifting).

A bonus EP is coming in Fall 2013 with some overflow requests.
